Quackers Bar and Grill in Mound City

Took a bit to get our food but what do you expect when the line server makes a fresh pot of coffee for me and we ordered pizza (for 6yr old), steak (for 8yr old), western burger and loaded nanchos?? Everyone left stuffed, with left overs for tomorrow and raving about the food! Fresh cut fries and seasoned potatoes- so good! Oh...don’t miss out on the HOMEMADE blackberry cobbler- to die for!!

I sat down at 7:03 recieved a menu at 7:27 and ultimately received my food at 8:31. They were busy but at what point does a business need to find a way to be more efficient?

Quackers means ducks! I did not see any on the menu. Very good food and plenty. We enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness. Handicapped parking and room for TV's...call first. Thoroughly enjoyed their hot meals after a long day on the road. Enjoyed!

Food was great and you got a lot of it. They were busy and the waitress was taking care of people as fast as she could. The 4 stars was because they were short staffed.

Quaint, down to earth place. Good food, good service. Local hang out, made me think of the places I went to when I was young.

Excellent, steak two nights in a row. Good atmosphere. Very good hostesses. All meals were great. It was a full house each night we were there.Recommend to whom ever goes to Mound City Missouri.

Stopped here after a long day of hanging gutters in the heat. Comfortable small town atmosphere, cold beer and friendly service. I had one of the best sirloins I have had in awhile, cooked as ordered to perfection! Salad was fresh and baked potato perfectly cooked. My partner had nachos supreme and fried chicken gizzards... both plates were large and almost more than he could eat. We were both very impressed! Highly recommend this place!

Outside is understated, but inside is clean, bright and friendly. Food was basic hometown specials but all very good. Had an excellent ribeye! Couldn't have asked for better. Good service, fair prices. Glad we stopped in.

Wonderful Folks, Excellent Food & Service!

Cheeseballs came out very quick. Friendly staff when/if they checked in. Maybe once to refill waters when was empty for a little bit. Chicken strips and burger are similar to other bar & grills. Fries were a little greasy but very fresh.

Maybe we were there on an off night. But only one waitress, so poor service. One meal came out, but rest came 10 min later and were cold and soggy. No one in our group finished any part of their meal, all were very disappointed with taste.

Great steak! The staff was attentive and polite.

Nice place. Filed with hunters when I walked in, but with all their camouflage, it was hard to find an empty table. Waitress was really nice and the food was good. I had a chicken club sandwich with fries, it was quite good and all I could eat. The beer came in the frostiest mug I've ever seen.

Small steakhouse was a nice surprise. Lunch special was $8.99 fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn & roll. It was a wonderful plate of home cooked goodness. Burger was perfect with hand cut fries. Clean bathrooms! Next time we travel by here, we are going to get a steak!

Thought they were open til 10 but it was 9. Walked in 15 min til 9 but they made my food pretty good. Pretzels were hard as a rock tho. Thank you to the servers and cooks for making food during closing time

Food was delicious, and our waitress was very nice but our was very busy and she was the only waitress and bartender it seemed. She did great for what she had to do. Would love to see her get since more help.

Very good service. The 4 of us had a club sandwich, breaded tenderloin, cheese burger and a bacon cheese burger. Food was delicious. In and out in about 45. On out way back from pheasant hunting.
